Prizes

SIOP has several prizes that are awarded in relation to the annual congress. The prizes are as follows:

SIOP Awards
The SIOP Awards are allocated to the best oral presentations in the field of Basic Science, Clinical Research and PODC.

The Fasanelli/Nöllenburg Prize
These prizes are prizes donated by private persons.
At present the procedure of this prize is being reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the Board. 

Schweisguth Prize
This prize is awarded to the author of the best scientific article. The author has to be a trainee. The prize is given in honour of Dr. O. Schweisguth, founding member and first President of SIOP. Click here for more info. 

Poster prizes
Each best poster of each discipline (as determined on the abstract form) is eligible for a poster prize.
